ABOUT OUR DONATION DRIVE
As we gather for the 2024 Rise & Thrive Conference to honor and support women, we found it crucial to recognize the basic needs that still challenge many women worldwide and right here in our community. One of which is period poverty.
Imagine this: A young girl, full of dreams and potential, is forced to miss school for several days each month simply because she lacks access to sanitary products. Or a young woman facing embarrassment and discomfort at school due to inadequate menstrual care resources. These scenarios are not just hypothetical; they are a harsh reality for millions of young girls and women.
We’re excited to collaborate with our local Boys & Girls Clubs of Topeka to support their Teen Center. We aim to provide essential menstrual hygiene products to support young women.
WHY THIS CAUSE
MATTERS
16.9 million menstruating women in the United States live in poverty. Period poverty is a significant issue that affects many people, leading to missed school, work, and other important activities.
By providing menstrual products to those in need, we can help ensure that everyone can manage their periods with dignity and comfort.

Donation bins can be located near the check-in table at the conference. All items must be unopened.

raffle entry.
For every donation, you'll be granted a raffle entry.
Winners will be announced at the main event on August 17 and on social media. If you can't attend the conference but made a contribution, your donation(s) still enters you into the raffle drawing.
